Dr. Amir Awad is a board-certified gastroenterologist practicing in the Tampa Bay Area. He graduated from the University of Alexandria Medical School in 1991 and completed his training in both internal medicine and gastroenterology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Awad also received specialized fellowship training in endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. In 2006, he started the endoscopic ultrasound program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
Dr. Awad lives with his wife and three children. He enjoys fishing with his family and actively supports the American Cancer Society’s fight against colon cancer.
