Dr. Bhavtosh Dedania is a board-certified gastroenterologist and advanced endoscopist serving as Medical Director of the Gastroenterology Center of Tampa Bay and Section Chief of Gastroenterology at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. He specializes in comprehensive digestive care with a strong focus on gastrointestinal cancer screening, prevention, and advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Dedania provides preventive and diagnostic services including screening colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, emphasizing early detection, risk stratification, and prevention of gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dr. Dedania maintains active privileges at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital and performs procedures at Brandon Surgery Center, conveniently located adjacent to his practice. Dedicated to academic medicine, he serves as core faculty for Internal Medicine and Surgery residency programs, mentoring the next generation of physicians.

He also serves as President-Elect of the Florida Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (FAPI – Tampa Chapter), reflecting his commitment to professional leadership and community engagement.

He is passionate about delivering innovative, evidence-based, patient-centered gastroenterology care to the Brandon and greater Tampa Bay community.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Dedania enjoys spending time with his wife and welcomed their first child in 2025. He is an Orangetheory Fitness™ enthusiast, enjoys exploring global cuisines, traveling internationally, and following cricket and football.
