Personal Information

Dr. Barth received her medical degree and master’s in public health and tropical medicine from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Gabon, Central Africa, for 2 years. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California San Diego. She then completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at Brooke Army Medical Center on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. During her eight years in the Air Force, she served as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas, and as Women’s Health director. She then served as a staff gastroenterologist at US Air Force Joint Base Elmendorf in Anchorage, Alaska.

Dr. Barth enjoys paddleboarding, traveling, savoring exotic cuisine, and spending time with her family
