Dr. Kuwajima is a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to delivering comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. She has special expertise in esophageal motility disorders, quality improvement in endoscopy, and women’s health issues within gastroenterology. Dr. Kuwajima is committed to providing patient-focused, evidence-based care tailored to each individual.
She spent much of her career at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where she emphasized patient-centered inpatient consultation and advanced the delivery of high-quality digestive health care. During her tenure, Dr. Kuwajima held several leadership roles, including director of the GI fellowship program.
In 2021, Dr. Kuwajima and her family moved to Florida to be closer to their loved ones and enjoy the state’s natural beauty. She serves patients in Rockledge and nearby communities, continuing her commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.
