Amanda was born and raised in Manatee County and is proud to serve the community she calls home. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse (RN) in 2002 and became a nurse practitioner in 2010, specializing in gastroenterology. Amanda is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to better understand and manage their health. She has a special interest in treating patients with inflammatory bowel disease, focusing on delivering evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside of her professional life, Amanda is a devoted wife and a proud parent to her son and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family to various Major League Baseball parks across the country, hoping to one day visit all 30. She and her husband also enjoy watching sports in the Tampa Bay area and cheering for their kids from the sidelines.
In 2020, Amanda was selected to attend an inflammatory bowel disease preceptorship at the University of Miami through the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
